There actually are a lot... but they are on the Spanish channels. Major companies often make separate commercials in Spanish with Hispanic actors for TV stations like Telemundo.

I watched the LSU Ole Piss game in Spanish feed and there was a commercial in English with non latinoamericanos as subjects

KGLA, channel 42 out of New Orleans. Loads of Hispanics on programs and commercials. Check it out if you want to see some.

Being a white dude married to a Mexican, I think it is ridiculous how Hispanics in general are not represented. Usually on tv, Hispanics are either gang members or play a 'maid'. My in-laws spoke to their kids in English, so my wife doesn't have an accent. Funny, my French grandparents spoke English to their kids, so my dad didn't have a strong French accent. But on tv, blacks are in at least 90% of commercials! You would swear whites are not allowed to have over 3 people without a black along with them! Meanwhile, Hispanics are excluded. Here in Houston, Hispanics are everywhere and do everything- car technicians, construction workers, waiters, cooks, plumbers, even secretaries! Texas would shut down without Hispanics, yet I never see them on TV...something is wrong with this!! And more than you think are conservatives, non-Democratic!

There is one black friend amongst four friends because you need safety if you accidentally roll up into the hood or a 1980’s mall. That black friend gives you street cred so your shite stays safe. That black friend can speak jive, American English, and Ebonics depending upon the location.
