All of my nightmares faded away long ago, but I have been known to haunt the dreams of many souls.

And sometimes my dead friends visit me in my dreams which is strangely neither pleasant nor disturbing.

Had a dream last week that I was in a plane crash and died. It was as if I felt the impact in my sleep. Other family members were in the plane and survived and later in the dream, they could see me like I was a ghost but others couldn't.

i have vivid, usually surreal, long form dreams almost nightly. I can't remember the last nightmare, though.

Not often but had one a few nights ago with demon dinosaur type creatures that I was trying to avoid most of dream.

It might have been due to taking magnesium again which increases effectiveness of melatonin. I had run out of magnesium for a couple of months but can tell the difference in past week.

I'm not sure why but I rarely remember dreams. Once every five years maybe.

It's related to stress for me. When I'm stressed from work, family drama, or whatever I don't sleep worth a shite. And I usually get nightmares or crazy dreams that wake me up.

Not necessarily the same school, but this is the one and only recurring nightmare I have.

How fricking old are you that you’ve had time to have a nightmare and post about it before midnight Central Time?

Probably pretty old

Early Dinner
Early Bed

By midnight you are up for your first of second night piss, the older you get, the more times you get up.

That is the real nightmare, sweet dreams till you get old.

Not a nightmare, but I had a dream the other night where I felt like a really intense emotion in my dream. Like I could feel like it outside of my dream. Kind of hard to explain.

I don't remember a lot of the details of the dream, but I remember seeing my sister and her 3 girls on the street randomly somewhere, and I approached them and they were surprised and happy to see me. I don't remember what happened before that, or most of what happened after that in my dream.

But the intense emotion part came at some point after I saw them, and I had adopted a young girl, pretty sure it was one of my nieces, I think my youngest one-not sure if something happened to my sister and my other nieces or what. But in the dream the adoption had just been finalized, and I hugged her, and I felt this deep, intense love that I imagine is what a parent feels for their child. And I actually felt the feeling, like outside of my dream, even though I was asleep.

I don't have kids. Not sure if I ever will. but the emotion in my dream is the emotion that I imagine a parent has for their child, or children. idk, it looks kinda weird typing it out, but that was my dream, and it was so strange.

The crazy thing is that I woke up, and looked at my phone, and my sister had sent me a picture from 6 years ago of me and one of my nieces riding on a boat. My sister and I are close, but we don't text each other every day, or even every week-we'll go weeks without texting sometime. But she happened to send me that picture that morning right after I had that dream.

When I was a kid i dreamed every night about an elf I kept in my shirt pocket. He was my buddy and we played every night. I'd go to sleep and he'd be "There you are!!!" Great times.

No

Harlan County is tougher than that. I remember the Hazard CC, where the shootin started after dinner. If you are old enough to remember when a biker gang came to an EKY city, did not end well for them.

On the flip side, see the doctor and have a scope (like a baby thing, but for your heart) if you are gettin old.

See… this doesn’t happen often at all, but depending on my exhaustion…. I can let my mind go very rarely and as I’m falling asleep, my mind’s eye becomes a some sort of artistic slideshow of the coolest, most metal/psychadelic art ever. And it will snap from image to image about every 2 seconds. Very cool and I have never heard of anyone else who has this happen to them

This happens to me a lot.

It’s been a long time.

I’m a sole provider with two kids in college and have been married for 26 years. I think the forces in the universe have given up on giving me anything in dreams that can move the needle compared to what I deal with every day.
