This is the main point. If I'm in NYC or LA, basically cities with good night life then I don't mind doing it. But if I'm in a smaller town it just feels weird.

Sure. Was on the road by myself for 3 years. Always ventured out, even if it was to talk shite with guys I didn't even know. Sitting at the hotel sucks

Uhhh yeah. Guys who travel for work learn to love it or they find a new career soon.
I love dinners alone and exploring a new city by myself. Much easier to plow chicks too when you're solo.

I mostly get either room service, or something delivered, or take back to my room. I'm not much on going to restaurants by myself.
