I'm convinced my wife has no clue how boxes are broken down and that they take up less room in the trashcan when they're broken down. She's resorted to leaving the box and packing around the house randomly and just thrown in the garage for me to deal with. I made an issue of it, and that was more work than breaking down the boxes myself.

I just tell my wife don’t bother. Just leave it by the trash can and me or the boy will do it.

Breakkng down boxes is man’s work I suppose

They leave the empty box for fatasses like you desperate enough to eat the sugar-coated box.

I just started working in a job that does the old school pot of coffee. I had only experienced K cups or individual espressos before now.

I often get one cup in morning and one around 3 or 4. When I get that afternoon cup and make another pot, I’ve noticed it’s usually still there when I leave at 6pm. Therefore, I’ve stopped making a new pot of empty after 3pm.

I’ve also learned some are particular about how many bags (1 or 2) are used in filter. I just want a quick single size cup.

My deal is when they put an empty jug or water bottle in the trash with the lid tightly secured.

Is that kind of like drinking all the tea in the pitcher except for about 2 Tablespoons and the putting the pitcher back in the refrigerator?

Kinda like I'll never drink the last cup of coffee because I'm too lazy to make another pot,

When I married my current wife she had 2 kids, a boy and a girl.

Those 2 would do the dumbest crap when it came to food I've ever witnessed up till then. If they drank the last of the milk, they would leave just enough in the gallon container to slightly lighten a cup of coffee and the reason was "They didn't drink "BOTTOM MILK"----whatever in the hell that meant.

Pretty much the same if we had 2 liter sodas on hand. They'd drink all but just enough to fill the little dimples on the bottom of the bottle and put it back in the fridge. And to do that, they have to walk past the garbage can where it should have gone.

It's just plain laziness if you don't throw the box away if you're the one to take the last donut/slice of pizza, etc.

And it's common courtesy.

I'll take the last 1 or 2 donuts and leave an empty box just to piss off people like you.
