When you lose weight it's inaccurate to say you've burned more calories than you take in.

When you lose weight you actually lose mass in the form of carbon dioxide and water. Specifically when we metabolize fat it converts to 84% C02 and 16% water in terms of mass (or weight).

Mass in terms of conversion to fat is probably a better way to measure your dietary intake rather than calories (which is a unit of energy). We don't lose calories when we lose weight, we lose mass. So if you want to lose weight, take in less mass.
How you do that is a different story left for the doctors, psychologists, nutritionists, family, friends and your own will power.

so, burning more calories than you take in does not lead to weight loss?

So weight loss causes global warming?

Then explain the different caloric densities of the three main macronutrients and how that factors into your hypothesis.

So we should just do meth, cause that does make you skinny.

Not necessarily. The point is maybe we're looking at measuring our food intake in the wrong terms. Maybe we should be looking at in term of mass in versus mass out. That is eat less in grams than you excrete out as CO2 and water.

Yeah, sure. If that makes you eat less and move more than go for it.

You have a good way to measure the weight of the air we breathe out and the moisture we lose during the day?
Oh and don’t forget to weigh your shits in order to get an accurate measurement.

How about just eat less than your fat arse normally does
