put on a float charger. I don't consider the season over until I mow the last leaves, which will prob be after Thanksgiving at this rate.

I throw mine away for the winter and buy a new one come spring.

But I'm an OT Baller. 6'4, 3% body fat, 8 figure salary, nailing OT 10s on the reg.

What's it like to be poor?

I usually cut mine once or so in December. I just run it until it runs out of gas and it's winterized.

Lawn mowing season is just starting here. Love pushing it around in the rain.

Winterize? Leaves finish falling in early January. shite (clover) starts growing again in late February. There's 6 weeks of offseason.

Bermuda? I'm considering whether or not my wife can bitch enough for me to cut it again. Probably so... But I'm strongly considering not doing it

I don't know what it is but the grass here dies during the summer and starts growing around September.

OT Baller's don't own a lawn mower. They have a landscape crew on staff. They take care of the maintenance. SMH

I can afford it but I'm too damn cheap. I run the numbers about being outside, drinking a few cold beers vs being inside listening to my wife nag and think to myself "is it really worth paying someone for me to be with my family for an hour?" The numbers never work for me so i just go with it.

I mowed my own grass for ever but my neighbors grass guy broke one of my windows with a rock and I just happened to be home when it happened. He replaced my window and I asked him how much he charged to cut grass and he said $35.00 so I figured I would give him a new yard to make his money back for mistake. I haven’t found a better use for $35.00 a week yet so I keep on paying him.

As some of the others say, I mow until the leaves stop falling...That is around the first of December where I live. I don't usually do much of a winterizing for my mower, though. I basically just fill it up with non-ethanol gasoline and add some stabilizer. When I am ready to start mowing in the spring, I'll change oil, sharpen blades, etc.
