No, many women feel as I do.
Eta: other than sex what can someone like that provide for anyone? And provide meaning be a suitable mate to raise kids with. That's what women are looking for. That's just nature.

Agreed. Women are occasionally attracted to the "bad boy" persona, but most of the time when it comes down to it, that's not who we choose to spend our lives with. Porcupines don't make good fathers & husbands.

which is the perplexing part. Guys were raised hearing this, but in reality they witness a disconnect. The Beiber wanna-bes, the trendy fashionistos, the thugish badboy, all swim in it compared to the average engineer in khakis with great credit. Am I wrong? Who has had more sexual partners, the criminal or the well educated guy with great credit?

Hi everyone. I don't have a problem with any of it, it's just lame that women think they need to lie about it. I didn't get dumped either, just was making an observation. My life is excellent

Yeah sure those types get laid but I was talking more of a LTR. I'm old and a one night stand isn't something that I would consider so the well educated guy with great credit sounds HAF to me. Stability is sexy

Meh it's more like a benchmark. If you're average looking or better, confidence easily glosses over a lot. Obviously your window for frick ups increases the more attractive you are.

Also, stop falling for most of these idiots bragging about "falling in it". Men are reported to average anywhere between 5 and 9 partners their entire life. So, even assuming nothing but virgins and active people, a 30 year old guy who's been active since 20 would only average 2 partners per year.

I have a good buddy in NOLA who is a sex therapist by profession. He tells me that all women, pretty much without exception, are first and foremost looking for one thing: a stable provider. According to him, it's just how they're wired.
This guy pretty much has carte blanche from his own wife to do whatever he wants, because he is such a good provider himself. In fact, he always tells me that his wife's biggest fear is not that he'll cheat on her; she knows he's not going anywhere. Her biggest fear is that he'll get a DWI and lose his license to practice. And then what good is he?
