On your dream, does everyone work four days only? Do all workers get three days to rest, relax and recreate every week? Are days off Friday, Saturday and Sunday for everyone?
Better have a full tank of gas every Thursday night.

I work in sales and would take a call at any time of the week en route to closing a deal.
Meh, if you work in sales, you work when your customers work. If none of your customers work Fridays then there probably aren’t a whole hell of a lot of calls coming in right? (Assuming b2b of course.)

Works for some jobs and not others.

You can be off for life in about 2/3 years when AI takes over 85% of jobs. You’ll have nothing and love it.

I personally would hate four 10s because I have things I do during those 4 days I couldn't get done and can't "make up" on the extra day off.

Hey Outdoorreb, how many acres do you farm?
I know you are reaching for something, but your low IQ prevented comprehension. When the job is done, it's done.

I miss 4 10's but I'm not sure my current job could do it.

as a massive underclass is rapidly increasing in population and still being asked/forced to cut grass and frame houses 6 days a week. and when they get to go home, their women smell like the onion rings they've been frying all day at burger king. oh and their kid just got stabbed again at public school.
demographics are changing. there was just a massive transfer of wealth away from "the people". schools are failing. buying a house has never been more costly. i think it would be foolish to ignore the possibility of a bloody revolution happening in the next 50 or so years.
I'm unclear as to how this has anything to do with an individual working from home. All of these things sound like societal problems that are occurring for other reasons. And if you are equating all of the above problems to WFH, then I'm not entirely sure what to tell you, bc that is an absurd argument.

i'm just saying we can't expect to maintain order when millions of people are working from home 4 days a week and going on nice vacations all the time
Why not? The same work (if not more/better work) is being completed with WFH. That being the case, why is working within 4 walls at a desk with a computer at your home address worse than working within 4 walls at a desk with a computer at an address 10 miles away?
