Oil baws, what are you heating about upstream oil? My towns economy pretty much is dependent on it coming back. Is trump helping the oil come back in the gulf?

Oil will probably never be "back" to what it was in the gulf

Saudi's just said they're ok with current prices, IIRC

Coming back to $100/barrel?

If you ask me, not for at least a decade.

With how easy it is to drill and frac the source rocks, we can turn on the spigot very quickly, and as soon as prices begin to climb back up, we will, and drive the price right back down again.

Maybe another 20 years? Who knows.

Those aren't likely to be normal prices, but the spikes.

I can't wait to pay $4+/gallon again. The piece of mind I get from helping people incapable of helping themselves helps me sleep better at night.

It needs to be $65-$75 a barrel. That's at a price that will keep everyone satisfied.
