When will it all come crashing down?

The price of everything has become untenable. Utility rates. Groceries. Insurance rates. Rent/Owning costs. Gas prices. Vehicle prices. This is basic needs. Not even going to get into travel/entertainment/leisure item costs.
While some of these these prices are "moderating" I have to imagine way more people are feeling the squeeze than not and there has to be a reckoning.

I would say housing, heat/ac and food are basic needs.

The old saying is the cure for high prices is high prices, but what if this is different, and we just move further into a two class economy?

I agree. Was just pointing out all of these aren't basic needs...

When the nukes start flying here soon

1 out of 6 maybe isn’t a basic need. The rest are.

Why don’t you inform the entire board about Maslow’s hierarchy of needs?

Trying way too hard to be obtuse here. Pump the brakes

These are the most basic of needs if we want to maintain a 21st century society.
ETA: Now we can talk about how much rent and ownership are needs, or how much vehicle is a need, or how much insurance coverage is a need, but unless we want to drop our standards of living by about 200 years these are all basic needs. I would also say communication and broadband access qualifies as a basic need, and cell phone handles everything you need.

It’ll really be your lovers fault, Vladimir Putin, when the nukes start flying
