The citizens get the government they deserve.Majority of registered voters don’t vote,presidential elections are the only ones that get a signiant voter turn out.I know people that have never registered to vote.
Then of those that do vote only a minority actually know the issues,voting records of their representatives.People are just lazy and complacent..
