I haven't used one in a very long time.

Back when almost everyone still did, we had a creepy neighbor that used to comment on my wife's underwear style and fashion.

She began to make sure the towels and sheets were on the wire nearest to him so he wouldn't be letching out over the lingerie.

Fun Fact if you ever get into metal detecting. Figure out where the clothes line was at old homesites. There you will find many coins, small knives, jewelry and various other treasures!

Every time we do laundry. We have no dryer and use a fold-up wire rack (actually 2) to dry. Things are usually dry the next day, even in winter, as the this is inside.

My grandma did it a lot. I can remember running out to get the clothes off the line when a rain shower popped up. Probably why her 1970’s dryer outlived her. My mom did it for a long time but stopped probably in early 2000’s.

To me, the clothes always seemed to dry stiff and wrinkly. Towels were a nightmare. I’m not a fan.

My parents still use a clothesline if it's not rainy. My wife asked me to install a clothesline, which I'll do once I retire.

Can't remember the last time seeing clothes hanging. But, a family member has the posts from an old clothes line in the yard.

It's made of like 3" pipe and secured in the ground so well, I'm pretty sure you could stie yourself to it during a tornado and be just fine.

I hang some items I don't want in the dryer on a rack in the utility room but not outside like when I was a kid. Everyone had clotheslines back then.

I hang dry everything with a collar and all my pants.

But I do it in my laundry room and kick on the dehumidifier.

Dryers back then were made to last a lifetime as well.

Some HOAs don't allow you to do it. But in my experience the laundry comes out better if they are hung out to dry like that.
