What the hell were the toppings?
Shrimp & artificial crabmeat, with a sprinkle of Cajun seasoning on the top. You could also get the “Seafood Supreme” which added bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms. It was a seasonal thing that was only available during Lent

I thought it was alright up til the late 90's. Then something went awry.
I don't think they've gotten much worse than the 90's. I think their competition has gotten better. Unless you're from NYC or Chicago the average city has more to offer than the big 3 than they did 20 years ago.
eta- after reading the thread I'm starting to change my mind. Maybe they are that much worse.

Pizza Hut is still good to all but millennials

Yeah, Pizza Hut is still legit and has always been the best national pizza chain. They have the best thin crust, sauce, and cheese blend.

About 7-10 years before they tore down their restaurant by Hammond Square Mall. I used to love that place.
RIP to Pizza Inn in Hammond and Mr. B’s Pizza in Ponchatoula.
Thankfullly there is still Tommy’s and Commander’s in Hammond, Norma’s in Covington and Coscino’s in Mandeville.

Dominos was better before the ingredient change. Too much seasoning now.

The one by my house fixes a pretty good pepperoni thin crust

their thin crust is ok, every once in a blue moon.

I find that Pizza Huts are hit and miss, depending on location. The one in Dutchtown is absolutely horrible - from the pizza to the service.
Generally though, I think Pizza Hut is the best of the big three chains when the restaurant and its workers are all doing things the right way.

No doubt about it, 10x better than papa and dominos

When kale was a decoration on their salad bar and not the shitty super food it is today.

I like their thin crust. Seems like their prices really dropped in the last 15 years. They used to be pretty expensive.

Yep, the Hut was awesome in the 80s/90s especially dining inside. MMmmmm remember getting those fresh Pizza Hut pies straight out of the oven. So good.
