Trump's Tweet mentioned using the military. I'm sure you can see the problem with using the military to open fire on looters.
I don't have any use for looters. They should have to face the consequences of their actions. I don't think being shot by our own military is the consequence they should face.
But I don't think that's going to happen. This is just a Twitter beef from Trump. He got the reaction from Twitter he was going for so he can play the victim of censorship again.

Is it playing victim of censorship when they actually censored him?

It's not a crime worthy of being shot and killed without a trial.
Unfortunately when you step outside the bounds of society you don't get to control all the rules. You may walk up to a guy in a bar and open hand slap him, after that things are out of your complete control. He may beat the shite out of you with his fists or a chair and kick you in the throat with his boots.
Protest correctly and you greatly improve your chances of not being shot by the authorities.

They didn’t censor him. The tweet is still there with a warning, despite it going against their policy.
Trump isn’t the victim here. He’s just a retard.

All this does is piss them off even more. You morons will praise this, but it’s entirely irresponsible on his part.
Got to agree here.
I also agree, for the most part, that these people are not protesting in a way that honors the deceased. They are violent thugs and necessary force should be used to stop them from ruining private businesses.
But, the President needs to choose better words here.

Twitter is a platform, not a publisher. They just host the content, they don't alter, edit, or delete it.
At least that's what I've been told.

Yeah, poor Trump. The President of the United States has no way to get their message out there.

you're missing the entire point.

Just a matter of time before destroying shops is not enough and becomes old news, it will then transition into neighborhoods.
Sides will then be created to out destroy each other

Possibly, because I really don't care what the point is. The whole thing is stupid. The notion that the President's freedom of speech is being infringed is too ridiculous a notion to even try to understand the point.

Well the tweet does encourage violence which is against Twitter’s policy.
Strange that those policies only apply to conservatives?

No it doesn't. I've been told by Twitter to remove posts, and got a 1 week suspension once, and I'm far from conservative. Conservatives are just snowflakes about it and cry about it way more than anyone else does. They love playing the victim.

well he's a democrat so he's either extremely stupid or being willfully ignorant. I dislike the latter group more but judging this guys posts he's in the first group.

Of course his freedom of speech isn't being infringed.
That's not the issue. The issue is the selective editing of a supposed "neutral" platform, and if said platform determines they will continue to selectively edit, then they should fall under the same guidelines as other media organizations.

Let's be truthful, everyone loves playing the victim.

Khamenei, numerous world leaders, Kapernick, and celebrities have advocated violence and their tweets are still up.
The WHO put out lie after lie and their tweets are still up.
China puts out lies all the time and their tweets are still up.
Calls for the death of Isreal are still up.

And of course, Twitter can surely be counted on to be pussified.
"This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules about glorifying violence. However, Twitter has determined that it may be in the public’s interest for the Tweet to remain accessible."
They're just complying with the President's wishes that the Section 230 protections for social media be removed.

But the logic of Mr. Trump’s order is intriguing because it attacks the very legal provision that has allowed him such latitude to publish with impunity a whole host of inflammatory, harassing and factually distorted messages that a media provider might feel compelled to take down if it were forced into the role of a publisher that faced the risk of legal liability rather than a distributor that does not.
