It's the issue Trump himself raised.

The issue is the selective editing of a supposed "neutral" platform, and if said platform determines they will continue to selectively edit, then they should fall under the same guidelines as other media organizations.

Oh, so a manufactured issue. Plenty of liberals have had their Tweets edited, deleted, flagged, and plenty of liberal have been banned from the platform.

but hey, Spleen got suspended for a week once so that means they don't selectively censor conservatives

To all the people who are up in arms about what the president said, you do know that breaking into businesses, stealing stuff, and burning shite down is a crime and that there are repercussions to committing crimes?

There were thousands and thousands of pro-violence, anti-police, anti-white tweets last night. Very few if any are being censored. That's always the case on Twitter.

I get that it's silly to compare POTUS to some random dude, but the simple fact is that Twitter engages in viewpoint discrimination and while I'm something close to a 1A absolutist, they're begging for government intervention.

If the implication is that the repercussion is a shooting, then that’s a problem

he actually has the right to say whatever he wants. That's something you libs don't seem to get. He definitely should have worded it better but the general message is 100% there and on point.

someone comes in your house stealing shite and burning it down. Do you have the right to shoot? Yes or no?

Well the tweet does encourage violence which is against Twitter’s policy.
In that case, how come Twitter hasn't removed all the tweets from protesters calling for riots and to burn shite down?

Seems like Twitter is only selectively enforcing their rules. Hopefully they lose their "platform" status and protections so the business owners who had their stores torched by rioters can sue Twitter for their website being used to incite these riots.

Very true. You have the right to peacefully assemble and protest. You do not have the right to destroy / steal private and public property.

The quote isn’t about home/business rights, it’s about police retaliation. Big difference.

Nobody advocated people kneeling during the national anthem be shot or dealt with in any way by the government, actually. Not sure what your point is.

Have you been living under a rock? And don't even start with the whole "it's a private business." No fricking shite it's a private business, but if you can't recognize the antagonism conservatives had against kneeling, you got bigger problems.

They now say using the word "thug" is, like so many other words, not politically correct (even though Obama uses it). It is racist. BULL!

I love how people on here loathe Kap but hold him to the same standard as the POTUS.
That's a weird take that really doesn't make sense.

The point is that it absolutely does show that Twitter does have an agenda out for Trump. Hell, they may be right to censor his tweet or whatever they did, but in not doing so for other high profile tweets calling for violence, it does prove Twitter isn't trying to do the right thing here, it's just an agenda they have.

And I'm saying that as someone who thinks Trump is a complete fricking moron for his tweets. A President should be a unifier, that tweet was made to intentionally divide us further. At first glance, that may seem a bit overboard but when you stop to realize Trump 100% knows that Trump will be divisive and still makes the tweet, I'm not sure how else one should interpret it other than with intent to divide.
