I lost my wife to cancer in the same scenario with it spreading to the bones. I had questions throughout her bout with cancer and only my faith in God keeps me at peace. Prayers offered for her and your family and support group sir!

We live in a broken world. Your hope can be rock solid through Jesus. He's allowed you to know the outcome before it happens - victory.
I've lost my entire family to cancer. There's no one left. No one! I empathize with you, dude.
I can't wait for the day all this broken-ness is finished

It can never take the life you have/had brother. Lords knows. We don't. Trust it violently. Prayers sent.

I'm walking proof that miracles can happen. I was diagnosed with an incurable blood cancer. Went through some extensive chemo and various treatments that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. In January of last year I began to feel very different than I had for quite some time. Two weeks later in February I went for testing. Out of the Dr's mouth "we couldn't find any cancer in you." God is still in the healing business. Been over a year and a half now, cancer free. Still dealing with stuff that it did to my body, but greatful and thankful I'm here. I will be praying for you and your fiancé. Because first hand I know it can still happen.

I'll certainly lift up shelby in prayer.
At this point be loving and encouraging.
And while this information may not be life saving at this stage, I logged on just to tell you to watch / read about dr. Thomas Seyfried.
He recommends a carnivore diet to starve cancer cells of energy and his research is convincing.
I'm already "ketovore" with low carbs. But if cancer were ever a concern I would do hard core carnivore.

Prayers to you, your wife and family.
Stay with God in the pain and suffering. We are all spiritual beings trapped in a physical body. And all of us are guaranteed to depart from the physical world at some point. Live the life you have with her to the fullest. Help her prepare and bring joy into her life at every opportunity. Help her make a bucket list and do the things. Enjoy your time together. All of us have an expiration date.

Carnivore diet with an anti-parasitic regime (ivermectin or fenbenzadole)

You should seek out a counselor (religious or secular) to help you cope with the challenges you are facing.
