When I watched Dear Zachary. Good lord.

Hadn't cried in years before that, but my goodness.

Driving back to the hotel working in Texas when Brotherly Love
Came on. Had to pull over it hit me so hard. I miss my bubba something terrible. Every single day, without fail, think of him and my heart hurts.

I know it's just a dumb country song, but that song by Lee Brice, "I drive your truck", does the same thing to me. I lost my brother 6 years ago this past August and that song chokes me up everytime I hear it.

Cried for about 40 straight nights sleeping only from exhaustion in recliner with tv on mute and iPod blaring reading iPad drinking beer trying without success to not remember in vivid detail all the best times of my life with my first child/ son/ best friend after got his text last Oct. that he only had a few months to live. I was all cried out by the time the end came on day 47.

When my dad passed away.

The day my grandfather passed away. He basically raised me.

When my family called to tell me he had taken a sudden turn for the worse, I booked the next flight home. Unfortunately, I made it to the hospital just minutes after he was intubated and sedated. He went into multi-organ failure shortly thereafter and never recovered.

I knew I would never again get to speak to the man to whom I owe everything, and even worse, I knew I would have to tell my grandmother that he wasn't making it out of the hospital this time.

I pulled up a chair to his bed, laid my head down, held his hand, and wept. For hours.

I can't even find the words to sum up my feelings on watching that. It really got to me too. Definitely worth watching.

I cry all the time. I am an overly emotional female.

Worst cry ever was Januray 13th.

Much respect given for admitting this. The fact that you know this and don't try pretending your not puts you head and shoulders ahead of most females.

Not really, HC. He's better off that you let it out.

I didn't/wouldn't cry for many years. When I got sober for the first time in 1985 at the age of 34 I found and accepted that not only was I a sensitive person, I was a hyper-sensitive person. I can cry at the drop of a hat. Many things affect me - music, stories, the death of a loved one, even some of the stuff I read here. I feel like a healthier person since I began allowing my emotions to release.

Even so,I haven't cried in the presence of an other since my Father's funeral in 2003.

I cried when my daughter was born last month (I cried with all 4 of my kids )

Can't remember the last "ugly cry" I've had. Probably when a good friend of mine died in HS.
