I've been wearing one by choice in some public spaces for the last 6 years so life doesn't really change much for me.

Most people are only wearing them because they are mandated to. Once the mandate is lifted, most sane and otherwise healthy people will stop wearing them. Hence, you will be able to pick out the insane ones (and vulnerable ones) easily.

I only wear one because my work place requires it, as does my city of most places I want to go (bars, restaurants, gyms, grocery stores, etc)

So many fake tough guys on this board. Everyone of you in Louisiana saying “I haven’t been asked to wear one in months and We haven’t worn masks in XYZ since the hurricane” etc. are 100% completely full of shite.

More than anything, the mask as become the most conspicuous aspect of virtue signaling.

The OVERWHELMING majority of people are wearing them because either their employer mandates it (out of fear of potential litigation) and/or because they are decent people and don't want to see a business get in trouble for breaking rules that business didn't implement. But then you have those who are wearing it because they are "virtuous" and want to show you just how virtuous they are. They will continue to wear them FOR THAT REASON even after these stupid mandates are lifted.

"I'm not doing this for me. I'm doing this to protect YOU! Because I am that great and virtuous of a person!!!" (Of course, they forget that most people didn't ask for them to worry about MY health)

Not wearing a seatbelt shouldn’t be against the law. Let stupid people die so they stop making more stupid people.

I don’t know. I didn’t say I agreed one way or another. I’m simply stating the feedback I’m getting.

I work in home sales, most people tell me I’m free to take it off once I enter the house, they only wear them in public for reasons stated above.

Full disclosure I will not be wearing one once I’m not required.

And also why are people on this board so obsessed with what everyone else does in regards to mask.

No, pretty much everyone continues to wear them in Tampa area. Despite a minority of O-T members, most people are willing to wear a mask for the consideration of others and not throw a tantrum about how devastating it is while in Walmart for 10 minutes.

Who is throwing the tantrum? Love how all the mask wearers act like it is people who don't want to wear them crying about it. You mask wearers keep asking our opinion and keep expecting a different answer? I'm going to continue to not give a frick about the mask. If asked my opinion on the mask, giving said opinion is not equal to a tantrum. I have never said for you to not wear a mask if you feel you should. Wear it or not, nobody gives a frick. It is you who throw the tantrum because you want other people to wear the mask and then proceed to belittle non mask wearers as though they don't care about others. I hope no one gets ill, but I'd bet 9 out of 10 times those who got sick probably did so by something of their own doing. Not washing hands, getting too close to someone else because they had their mighty mask on, etc.

I don’t see nearly as many post topics About how you should wear a mask.

I said I wouldn’t wear it if not required.
Asked a question on why people are so obsessed on others wearing mask.

Sorry to trigger you. Learn to read.

no one is obsessed with what others do. People simply stated that they wouldn't wear one if lifted. You are the one who stated people are making a big deal about wearing a mask and claiming they don't care enough about others health to wear a mask for 10 minutes at walmart.
You are literally the one who threw the tantrum. Try some of that reading, yourself. You didn't even have to read that part, those were your own words.
