There’s a video out there taken from the three young ladies sitting right behind that family too. Saw it on FB but I’m sure it’s on X too.

I present a third option that I don’t think has been brought up, and what I probably would have done. Taken the ball and thrown in back on the field. And told the bitch, “get out of my face, no one’s going home happy tonight”.

That guy sprinted pretty far away from his seat to scramble for that ball. There's got to be some kind of unspoken social limit on how far into other seats you can go and how hard you can scrap for a baseball, doesn't there?
He was on his own row and went past a bunch of empty seats to get to the ball. Its not like he was jumping over seats or shoving his way through other people to get to it. He did what happens at every game when a ball is hit into a part of the stadium where there’s a lot of empty seats

That would have been my only question here (I know absolutely nothing about baseball stadium etiquette).

MSB seems to be confirming there is not so screw her and her Karen-arse haircut.

Good on dad for de-escalating but he would have been perfectly within his rights to shove her crazy arse and send her tumbling over the seats.

Would have been tempting but he did the right thing. Dont embarrass your child.

Kids need to learn how shitty other adults can be too, and she showed him.

I’m not a big baseball guy (with the exception of LSU, of course). Why would you bring a baseball into the game with you? You aren’t going to be able to throw it around in the stands. I get kids bringing gloves to catch balls that come their way, but balls?

Exactly. I’m sure Dad was having thoughts just like the rest of us are now, but he handled it the right way.

He comes off looking like the good guy and the kid gets an autographed bat and learns not to be a craptastic human. Big win for that family.

What kind of grown man makes that “startled” motion when the Karen approached? Yikes.

How can you be on an LSU fan forum and still be this ignorant to baseball fan etiquette? The race to get home run balls is part of the game. As long as you don't shove someone or literally grab it out of someone else's hand after they secured it, it's yours. That said, if a kid under 12 is involved, it's the kid's ball every time.

I really like the new method of making these assholes famous. You can't whip their asses anymore, so let the Internet ruin them. I hope this count finds 6 months of misery as a result of her actions.

Anyone can get inadvertently startled like that.

He wasn’t expecting someone to chase him down. It’s subconscious whether it’s a Karen or a fricking tiger.
