You only have one life. If things between you and the spouse are at the point of no return. Cut it loose. Your children will thank you later in life. Especially if you learn your lesson and find someone who is a better fit.

When you realize that they have given up. Being miserable in a shitty relationship is no way to go thru life.

When you sober up and realize it was your wedding you were at.

When she cheats on you with a BBC or any other weiner for that matter.
Whores.
As far the woman's stance, she should be at home cooking and cleaning. Her brain is too small to think about what's going on in the big ole world outside the kitchen/bedroom. So no grounds for a divorce.

I see a lot of infidelity/cheating posts. Infidelity doesn't necessarily mean divorce. Sometimes that can get worked out.

It's never OK to divorce. This me-first culture is killing our country. Just because your partner doesn't "pay enough attention to you" or have the "same sexual orientation anymore", that doesn't mean you can just end things. It's selfish and shortsighted.

If your marriage makes you miserable.
Life is too short to be miserable all the damn time. For example, when you pull up to the house and see her car and think "Damnit, she's home."

I think most people know what they are getting when they get to the alter. with that said I bet most guys would agree that after the ceremony guys stay the same and it is the women who do the changing. As far as divorced I'm not really sure. After cheating maybe?

Physical Abuse, Infidelity or abandonment, period.
No fault divorce is a curse on this nation and the worst thing to come out of the social revolution of the 60s.

I'll assume you're in your early twenties. When you grow up you'll realize that life is misery and marriage is just part of that. Good luck living the fairy tale though, when it comes crashing down let us know what you learned.

The (traditional) vows do say in sickness, blah blah blah
But what if the other person just sucks and doesn't do their part? When is enough, enough?
So you're dating a married dude now I see..

Some people are really good at hiding things

This is why you wait and get to know the person before getting married. This is also why if you have the least bit of doubt about the person, you don't marry them.
With that said, there are people who are so good at hiding themselves they can fool everyone, but they are far more rare than people want to believe. More often than not, we purposely ignore warning signs in the hopes we are wrong or they will just go away (and that never works).

For me it's infidelity. Your spouse is supposed to be your best friend, your partner-in-crime, the person you are ALWAYS honest with (even if it makes you feel uncomfortable) and they with you. Consentually boning someone else is about the worst betrayal of that trust and I'm not one to give trust back to someone who proves to me that they can't handle it.

I was on the couch watching the game the other day and I yelled out to the old lady to go get me a beer out of the fridge. She refused to do it and I had to go get it myself. When she came out of the bathroom I told her that was unacceptable.
Happens one more time and we're done.

In theory, this is great. But what if you're 29 and all your friends are already married? You simply don't have the time and have to roll the dice.

Not justifiable divorce.

My ex wife, RIP, flat refused to take care of herself no matter what I did. After a few years of struggling and fighting her to realize what she was doing, I realized that I couldn't save her so I had to get out to save my sanity.
She passed away 4 yrs later at age 49.
