Oh my gosh how does that affect you?
Or are you taking my post out of context?
I have never read ‘The China Study’ - it’s a book
I have read plenty of other books - you kind of can’t become a librarian if you don’t read - it’s possible, but highly unlikely

You are spreading misinformation, are you really too stupid to see how that affects everyone?
And you are readily admitting you aren't up to date on the bullshite you are spewing.

The problem isn't fast food imo. The problem are people actually knowing how to eat a good healthy balanced diet.
Cut out soft drinks. Don’t go to sugary drinks like juice either. Just drink water. Hell, that will also save you money.
Drop bread entirely, or severely limit carbs.
Scruffy doesn’t do the whole “full keto” thing like the wife does. Too big of a fan of rice and fruit.
So, instead Scruffy limits them.
Cut back on candy and sweets.
The other massive issue is that people are largely sedentary. Thankfully Scruffy’s job keeps him on his feet pretty much all shift, but there is also the gym, jogging, walking, etc.

Both my rents worked and we barely ate out.
Even when I'd have friends over my parents would cook a meal. They would be amazed they actually liked things like spinach.
My friends parents, order papa Johns.

Red meat and colorectal cancer
Nuri Faruk Aykan | nfaruk@mac.com
Department of Medical Oncology, Institute of Oncology, Istanbul University, Capa, Istanbul, Turkey.
ABSTRACT Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most common cancer in men and the second in women worldwide. More than half of cases occur in more developed countries. The consumption of red meat (beef, pork, lamb, veal, mutton) is high in developed countries and accumulated evidence until today demonstrated a convincing association between the intake of red meat and especially processed meat and CRC risk. In this review, meta-analyses of prospective epidemiological studies addressed to this association, observed link of some subtypes of red meat with CRC risk, potential carcinogenic compounds, their mechanisms and actual recommendations of international guidelines are presented.
I didn’t make it up

And now you are taking posts out of context now as well
I wasn’t talking to you when I said
Someone was making a comment about me bringing 6 children into the world - not sure how many children I have affects anyone else
So who is stupid?
I posted a link to a study - I’m not against eating red meat - just saying that everything in moderation is a good way to go - I didn’t make anything up

I posted a link to a study -
An observational study that admits that correlation doesn't equal causation. That study has no clear evidence that red meat Causes cancer. It only says being that if you eat red meat you can get CRC. Since most of the world eats red meat you could say the same thing about heart attacks, alzeihmers, etc, etc.

CRC stands for colorectal cancer
This is from the conclusion of the article:
‘As a conclusion, accumulated evidence of prospective epidemiological studies and their meta-analyses shows that red meat and processed meat convincingly increases CRC risk by 20-30%.’

Agreed. This is the overaching issue for why obesity has increased over time. Back in the day, most jobs consisted of manual and physical labor. That will keep you in shape naturally if you're doing that everyday.
Now, with the increase of desk jobs or other white office work in general, you have to work out regularly to stay in shape. That's easy to do when you're younger. But by the time people get on child #2 or 3. It becomes really hard to consistently work out unless you have great discipline.
Then take into account the people who when young, they were naturally skinny their entire lives. They never had to work out, and they could eat like shite and never gain weight. Until about age 35-40, when their body begins to change and all of a sudden they start gaining weight and quickly.

I know what it says, I read it. What you don't understand is it is not a good study.

Also proven to be untrue. People gain weight as they age because they tend to move less and less. Your bmr changes very little.
