Do you get your 5-9 veggies/fruits a day?

I dunno maybe my palette isn’t that refined but a little Valentino hot sauce, some Louisiana hot sauce, etc and I can eat the same meal 3-4 days in a row to save money, time, and eat healthy.

Haha It's always the texture to me by day 3. It just doesn't taste quite as good.

When i was in an office every day pre covid day 3 of eating broccoli was pure torture

No, that's completely overrated. I don't eat fruit because it has sugar and vegetables are take it or leave it. If I want some I eat them, if not I don't.

I haven't had a single carb today, meat based diet

Based on what? Want to post some modern research indicating my colon would have any problems based on eating a meat based diet?

the 5 days was an exaggeration, the point was for a family of 4, especially with a pair of teenagers that seem to have bottomless pits for stomachs, you’re not prepping 2 meals a day for a month on $200.

Yeah no shite, you can't feed a person for $1.50 per day.

I certainly don't have to, but I eat sweet potatoes, brocolli, aperagus, black beans, and green beans when I want them. Usually a couple times a week.

This doesn't need to be turned into a carnivore diet pissing contest. I have a feeling it already has but plenty of those on the fitness board that you already participate in

Im neither pro or anti carnivore. I'm pro whatever you can adhere to that keeps you at the correct caloric level, and despite not much science to back me up, not eating shite made in a lab.

You don’t have to, sure. In that sense you also don’t have to drink water every day

Don’t get your pull-ups in a bunch - it’s mostly red meat that causes cancer - there are a few studies out there - this is from the world cancer organization:

Take care of your colon

You can live 100 years not eating a vegetable, that's not true with water.

Many people, including some very high level athletes, eat nothing but meat.

There's a guy that ran 100 miles in, I think, just over 11 hours that eats almost strictly ribeyes.
