Just another opportunity for the white fat-arse ankle-tatted women to show how much they love their spawn (which they otherwise neglect).

By the way, the new craze for these things is to call them "promotion" ceremonies.

Call me a misogynist, but white women are the cause of A LOT of society's problems.

My nephew's 8th grade didn't have a graduation, they had a "crossing of the ditch." The middle school is on the other side of a ditch from the high school, so they ceremonially crossed the ditch

Kindergarten gets graduation because the kid is entering elementary school

8th grade gets graduation because they are entering h.s.

H.S. gets graduation because they are entering college.

College gets graduation because it's really the least the school can do after you paid 4 years worth of tuition, books, parking, events, etc etc etc...

Why does it bother people so much? If you are a parent and have a problem with a simple 1 hour ceremony where you get to take pics of your kid walking across a stage and smiling, then you are a shitty parent.

5 year old = kindergarten = great, but lets drop that shite after than until something reasonable has been accomplished. Should only have these ceremonies for Kindergarten, high school, and college. College should only occur after a bachelors degree is obtained, not a weenie associates.

It's 2016. Graduating high school doesn't mean shite anymore and graduating with a bachelor's doesn't mean a whole lot more than that but I don't hear any squawking about ending those ceremonies so let the little 5 year old peckerwoods having a moment, for Christ's sake.

They don't mean anything anymore cause you have this nonsense of kindergarten and 8th grade graduation. So it's just another one in a long line.

but my daughters school had a full on cap and gown mass and ceremony for 8th grade "graduation".
My kids had this for their 7th grade graduation and it was very meaningful and special each time. Not sure what the problem is with it.

This pussified generation is bullshite. These days kids have smart phones and won't drink out a water hose. Pisses me off

I had a Kindergarten graduation with a little diploma with Mother Goose stuff in the margins. Late 50's. No cap and gown. The class sang a song, recited a poem. It was just a cute little show for the parents. No gifts. I think my folks bought me an ice cream cone.

Didn't see another graduation until I finished high school. As it should be.

I had a kindergarten graduation, but no cap & gown bullshite. I think that's where it starts getting over the top.

A co-worker said his kid is having a elementary to junior high school graduation next week. That's just fricking sad
