The t-shirt is the greatest invention in the history of the world. I wear them everywhere, and I'm always buying new ones on every trip.
I actually cried when I had to get rid of some classics to make room for new ones in the drawer. Every t-shirt is attached to a memory.

Who wants to wear a lot of clothes when you have to take off your belt, shoes, any jacket or hat, etc. going through security and then have to put it all back on? Unless there's a reason I have to dress well for the flight, when I go to the airport to catch a flight, I wear only pants and a shirt with shoes that can easily be slipped on and off. A belt is about all the additional accessorizing I will do, and a jacket or coat if it's cold.

When I'm not at work or going somewhere nice, I dress Nike casual...Basketball shorts, tee shirt, flippy floppies...All clean clothes though. I'm very pro-hygiene.

Probably 25% of my clients wear coveralls 6 days a week and they haven't worked in 15+ years.
This isn't a new fad. Getting to the point where you don't have to care about the clothes you wear is the American dream.
