I'm guilty for wearing my Lulu lemon shorts to Whole Foods after my run in Audubon Park.

There are quite a few narcissists on this board.

i spend about zero percent of my time thinking about what other people are wearing unless they're someone that i'm interviewing.
seems like there are just bigger issues out there than what someone decides to put on top of their body.
eta: i think it's petty and shallow, personally.

Unless I can smell you, I don't give two shits what you wear either. I have more important things to be thinking about

Men and women in recent years stopped giving a crap about how they look in public. Young women now wear massive tshirts over shorts, dirty hair in a messy bun...men wear the same worn out tshirts and cargo shorts/ripped jeans they purchased 10 years ago and dont want to shave anymore. Would like the OT's thoughts on why the majority of ppl simply dont seem to give a shite these days.
Because looks matter so much? Assuming people aren't wearing what you described to a professional work environment why give a damn what they wear? Worry about your own fricking problems

if i'm forced to be in that close of a proximity to someone else for that prolonged amount of time ... i can either choose to leave or say something about their hygiene as politely as possible.
aside from that... meeeh who cares?

Any/Every time I have a need to go to a government office, I make sure to be as sweaty, smelly and disheveled as possible.

Catching a 6 am flight is an eye-opening experience. People have literally rolled out of bed 15 minutes earlier.
I work at a college. I don't recall seeing anyone dressed as poorly as I see now. Appearance too. I understand guys looking poorly dressed, but the girls?
It's just a lazy, undisciplined culture. No, I don't expect an immaculate appearance or high-dollar attire.
But there is a medium.

I don't really care how people dress/act unless there are set standards and rules for the specific location I'm in.
I just ignore it like an adult.

I mean that's the micro chasm of this thread.
Unless told otherwise people choose to do the bum look more often than not.

May God bless fit Mexican baseball moms in their athletic wear. Even if their fat kid sucks.
Work - nice jeans, button up short sleeve shirt.
Home - old shorts, old t shirt, bare foot unless shoes are required by some sort of health board.
