I said IMO so therefore that comes from my own personal opinion.

Wait are you saying PF Chang’s and Galatoire’s are similar?

That’s where I’m confused

I don’t think Bella has ever been to Galatoires

For the purposes of understanding your argument, where have you eaten that you consider fine dining?

Not sure how the BR location was when it was open but Galatoire’s in the quarter is the only spot that still requires a dress code. PF Chang’s is Applebee’s cliental

Haven’t been in a while but Bayona and Antoine’s used to require jackets.

You could have had pf changs or outback and you chose johnny carinos and you’re wondering why your food wasn’t any good? Hmm.

Sounds about right for dinner. I’ve been to lunch at Antoine’s in jeans and a button down.

Pf changs is way more expensive than chilis it’s easy to run up a 100 dollar tab for two between apps, mains, desserts and drinks. And it’s a much nicer place with much better servers and bartenders.

“Fine dinning” is such an overused phrase.

Dinner and restaurants in 2019 is much different than it was in the 50’s.

Same with flying and church.

People dress much more to be relaxed than they do to impress.

I asked a pretty valid question trying to understand your argument, but based on your sarcastic response I’m guessing you’ve never actually set foot in a restaurant worthy of the term “fine dining”

Unless it’s a work expense, I avoid going out to eat unless I know it will be a good experience.

You are right that most middle market restaurants basically serve shite right now.

You can’t take someone joking with you can you.

I’ve been to many nice restaurants, I’m not going to argue with you or anyone else with regard to something that’s just my opinion.

I consider Ruth’s Chris a chain restaurant.

It’s a chain restaurant that knows it’s way around a good steak.

Of course I can take a joke, if it’s a good one. You just seemed to try and avoid my question with terrible humor.

And you’re entirely entitled to your opinion. I asked the question to understand where you were coming from so I could better understand your opinion.

You know, like how conversations work?

RC is consistently great. One chain I back, that’s for sure.
