1057 but I round up to 1100 to hear the “whew” sound of jealousy from them.

Who the frick is asking you people this shite, though?

My house is 2994, I round to 3000.

I have people ask frequently how many sq ft our house is because we've only lived in it for 6 months. So friends and family members ask a lot the first time they come over. Neighbors around us have all asked as well.

I don't think anyone at work has asked, or I don't recall anyone asking.
I will say though that I find 3000 sq ft to be too much, we don't need this much house. We have rooms that we don't use at all. However, it was the only available house in the neighborhood we liked that met our needs.

I had to walk 8 miles to school and 12 miles back uphill both ways except for the gator filled river we had to swim across.

LUXURY!

We couldn’t even afford to have real gators in our river. Best we got was some old sewer pipes cut in half with broken glass for teeth.
Then me and my 29 brothers and sisters would have to roll into a ball and cross the sewage ditch like ants in a flood for 23 miles in hundred degree weather while it hailed.

But you tell that to kids these days and they won’t believe you.

tell the I live in a single wide with soft spots on the floor and only one roof leak. The skirt is all torn up so there are feral cats having litters under my trailer but I let my pit bull clean them out from time to time when I let him off the chain attached to the tree. I keep foil on the windows for energy efficiency and have a 65" Ultra-HDTV with surround sound to watch wrasslin and monster truck pulls.

I dated a single mom in El Paso for a minute who lived in this exact house. Minus the pit bull.

I always just give half my sqft so I don't have to get all the follow up questions. 3800 and I leave out the total size of the ranch, but since you asked for photos

I know it's not much, but we are retired and didn't want to go much bigger.

My house is 2150. I never really know whether to round up or down and I spend way too much time thinking about it.

Unless there’s some specific, technical reason for asking that type of question, I’d say that conversation is full of shallow, materialistic, “keepin’ up with the Joneses”, and “let me ‘one up’ this a-hole” type of bullshite. There’s nothing more phony and condescending than that type of shite.

Not if you don't know my address!

I don't give a shite, I live in an apartment currently. When I moved here, I never planned on staying here long term. Not much point in buying and having to maintain in my case.

No one has ever asked me that. Why would they care?

Maybe you spend too much time with weird people.

Undersell so they never have the idea they are invited over.

300 SQ foot. And the toilet is right next to the couch. Gets the convo over quickly

3110 sq ft living, closer to 4500 square ft including back patio and 3 car garage. I don’t really have a reason to exaggerate. And I don’t feel bad for living in a larger house bc I’ve earned it.

You don't feel bad, but you do feel the need for internet adoration.

I'll tell you something one of the wealthiest people I've ever met told me about my home - "no one gives a frick about your house except you."

Truer words have never been spoken. You see and care about shite that no stranger would ever think about twice. No one cares about your house, plain and simple.
