Around here a lot of that volunteer work involves helping our at our catholic schools.
And keep in mind we don’t have busses, so it helps a lot when a wife is available to take the kids to school and pick them up as well as run them to the early afternoon activities.

So she'll volunteer 40 hours per week once the kids are all in school?
Well, we have a LONG time until the kids are out of school. we have a 5 year old and a 13 year old of our own, and we two years ago adopted a girl who is now 4 and just this year we started fostering two more , brother is 7 , sister is 9.
But even so, wife volunteers way more than 40 hours a week, as do I when you count school board, city council, sports teams, scouts (though I gave up boy scouts , wife still does girl scouts) etc etc . I am very blessed and we believe in sharing those blessings.

What are those? What’s your standard or belief of men and women.
Women are sewing, weaving, working in the fields, picking berries, making preserves, raising children, etc.
Men out drinking, hunting, warring and whoring.
The way it should be.

The weirdest to me is the dudes who have stay at home wives and no kids.
I know at least 3 married couples that don't have kids but only one works. That ain't natural.
Brady Bunch always weirded me out. Stay at home mom and she keeps the live in maid?

And before women joined the workplace and lowered wages it wasn’t necessary

You sure you don’t want a guy?

It's your propensity to post shite that you're serious about and still be incredibly dumb

Um , she doesn't work outside the home so no. She is however in charge of our finances, and gets an "allowance" if you will that is exactly equal to the one I get. Just the way we've always done it, before debit cards we took out cash for the week but nowadays with debit cards if she needs money she has her own card that I don't "monitor" she also has credit cards that she uses for whatever she wants.

Yep has nothing to do with globalization, automation, or migrant workers. Has everything to do with women.

Sounds like you have a strong wife that commits her time independent of you, and has made motherhood and community service her career.

It certainly can't be argued that women entering the work force en masse lead to lower wages.
That's just a fact. Of course that is a long way from saying "because of this women should leave the work force" which I don't believe.

Yeah, it’s pretty rare these days, because life is all about making more money and why actually raise your own kids when you can just pay Juanita to do it?
