Basically, Jimmy, my business is video game arcades, laundry, cigarette machines...

And trucking.

I dabble a little bit in personal loans and politics.

So your Dad, grandfathers, all but one uncle and all but one cousin did not go into the ministry? That’s how it sounds the way you wrote it, which also makes it sound like it’s not your family business.

My paternal grandfather and one of his brothers started a tile installation company. Ownership of the company was ultimately transferred to my Dad, who continues to run it until this day. My grandfather continued to be one of the tile setters for the company until he was in his 70s. The company has provided us all with a good life. However, I am not following in the tile business footsteps.

My maternal grandfather was a cabinet builder, and so was my uncle on that side.

We used to have a man made stone business. Wife did the accounting for it. Worked with her daily for about 5 years before we sold it.

I do not recommend working with you wife. NEVER NEVER EVER NEVER AGAIN.

Propane.

My Grandfather and his 5 brothers had 4 back in the 50's.They got old. They sold them all.

My Grandfather started another 1 where his brother lived on Lake Martin.

My Father had 1 here in Upper Gumplandia.

When the AL let the Electric Coops in around 2002,they bought every company up.

My grandfather and dad owned a Falstaff distributorship for almost 40 years till the beer went belly up. They sold it in 85...

I was the most popular kid in HS and College...

My dad tried to convince my grandfather to get the Coors distribution rights, back in the late 70's, but he didn't want it because he didn't want to bothered with purchasing the warehouse space. My dad was pissed...

My Moms side started out in the grocery store and smoked meat business. Some are still in it, and the rest almost all became engineers, like it was the new family business (large family). My Dad’s side started out in agriculture, lumber and then in sales, lots and lots of sales.
