had a board break in the attic and fell through. Broke six ribs on way down. Nothing compared to some of you guys but shite ribs hurt! You cant imaging what all you use rib muscles for until you break some.

did this also, but only three. i would agree that broken ribs are by far the worst for aggravation. everytime you sneeze, cough, strain, move in general you feel the pain

Broke both my arms when I crashed my bicycle at ten years old.
Crushed my left hand offshore and had to endure initial emergency surgery and some reconstruction surgeries. Hand looks like hell but I can use it due to 18 months of physical therapy.

ATV accident. Wife was the driver. My bad for letting her. Ended up with a concussion. Was out for about 15minutes and have zero memory of the next 8-10 hours. Got 14 staples in the back of my head. Other than that nothing more than sprains or a separated shoulder.

Broke a ton of bones in my wrist/hand in a pole vaulting wreck. One was the scaphoid bone which takes 6 months to heal. Had a cast to my shoulder for 4 months

No where near as bad as that but I broke my collar bone on both sides and my right shoulder blade in a car accident. My shoulders caught the front seats and saved me from going through the windshield. I didn't have a seat belt on it was the 80's

When I was 17, my dad sent me out with a hammer and nails to fix the big wooden box we put the trash in to keep the dogs out of it. One of the walls was coming loose. So I put a nail up there and started to hammer it in. Hammer takes a weird glance off the nail, and the nail comes flying back and penetrates my right eyeball. I reflexively slung my head so it didn't stick in there. Oddly enough, there was very little pain. But everything was green out of that eye.

I go in and find my mom, the nurse, napping on the couch. I wake her up and say, "will you look at my eye, I think I hurt it." She says "Eye stuff grosses me out, wait until your dad (paramedic) gets home.
About 30 minutes later dad shows up. I tell him the story. He spreads my lids and says "Look up...look down...look right....look left...holy shite. You're going to the hospital right now. There's a hole in your sclera and you're leaking humour. So he covers both my eyes with 4x4's and drives me 30 minutes to the hospital. Detached retina. They transferred me to Little Rock for eye surgery. I have terrible vision, and oddly enough, my vision actually improved a little in that eye after it was all said and done.
The most painful part of the whole ordeal was the follow up appointments. Every week I had to go to a specialist who looked into my eyeball with a mirror and a light that seemed to me to be about as luminous as the fricking sun.

Yeah, my idea of a 10 on the pain scale is getting third degree burns debrided, which means childbirth was maybe an 8 at the worst.

Well, shite. My injuries look like a knee scrape compared to losing a leg. Sheesh!

I got a third degree sprain in my right ankle once, alcohol related injury.
It was apparently pretty awful because the doctor kept coming in and looking at the X-ray, then he'd send me back to do more X-rays, then he had a few other doctors come look at it. I heard him saying to one of the doctors, "How is it not broken?"

And last night I stabbed an exacto knife into the tip of my finger. It really hurt. But I didn't lose it, soooooooo............

Motorcycle wreck in college slammed into a guardrail on I-10 in BR due to oily road patch. Came over top of the bike, and shoulder hit railing...broke AC joint, scapula & collar bone. Also had nerve damage to the right brachial plexus. Had to sit for a month in a recliner due to swelling, and unknown about nerve damage before they repaired the broken bones. That was easy part, but the nerve graph repair was done by a top nerve graph injury neurosurgeon in New Orleans 6 months later. 13.5 hours later, with a cut from right where the neck starts to go up from the shoulders, all the way over & down to my bicep, cuts from the back of both knees all the way to the bottom of my foot later it was over. I felt like some of the trout ive filet'd before have looked just cut everywhere I found out I can't tolerate morphine very quickly that first night when I hit the pump button the first time, and puked my guts out. I kept waiting to just split open when I was throwing up. Could be worse...6" lower on that rail, and I'm breathing through a tube the rest of my life, or dead.

My wife Lorena cut off my penis and I had to get it sewn back on.....Worse part is I had six inches and now I'm down to four.

When I was in the hospital I told the nurse that when I use this morphine pump I can't feel my penis.....She said it's ok she couldn't feel it neither.
