Passed a truck hauling 7-8 Maseratis on the highway this weekend.

Thought it was random as hell. I feel like actual nice cars aren't towed by a shitty 18-wheeler. I've never seen any other supposed 'super car' being towed en masse down I-20.

There's nothing super about a Maserati these days. They used to be more luxurious or 4 door type Ferraris, now it's just an Italian name on a generic car.

I agree. I would rather have a Mercedes Biturbo/AMG, Audi RS class, or a BMW M class.

OR THIS!

If I'm not mistaken, the service costs outside of warranty are borderline insane.

Well to be fair, Corvettes are more impressive than a lot of cars.

A 400 horsepower twin turbo Italian V6 is nothing to shake a stick at. Plus, these cars sound incredible. Genuinely one of the best V6 noises I've ever heard.

Ghibli SQ4 with Fabspeed Valvetronic exhaust

My main complaint is that the rear 3/4 view shown in that video looks a lot like a Maxima.

You're probably seeing the base Ghibli models. Maseratis are fraught will problems. Problems that are very expensive to fix.

the Ghibli is trash, but I've always thought their coupe is very attractive.

From what I remember in the 90s and 00s the maserati's were always considered a poor mans Ferrari.

"My Maserati does one-eighty-five.
I lost my license, now I don't drive.
I have a limo, ride in the back.
I lock the doors in case I'm attacked."

There are better choices for +/- 10% of the same price point.

The free market at work is why there aren't more Maseratis around.
