From any point in the house, she can determine the precise point where I am going up or down the stairs that I can hear that she says something, but not make out what she said. I've even tried to fool her by stepping in place.

my wife has many superpowers.
she's able to use all the hot water in just 1 shower.
she can stack up the garbage to the top w/out spilling.
she can locate the most expensive bottle of wine with little effort.
she can start planning our "next" vacation while on vacation.
she can go weeks without saying anything interesting.
