re: What’s your most irrational fear?

Spiders, I guess. I know that 99% aren't a threat to me, but that doesn't seem to matter. Specifically spiders in the house. Over the years I have gotten over my concern for them outside unless it is at night while walking under trees and such. I still walk while waving my arms out on front of me like some weirdo. My reasoning for that is that I can knock the webs down before taking one out with my face.

Fear of getting shot on I-10 in New Orleans is NOT an irrational fear.

I don't walk through doors in front of people and back in the day, when in class, I would always sit in the back right corner so I could see everyone.

I also can't do crowds anymore. The two panic attacks I've ever had came in crowded/loud places.

Getting choked out from ordering extra "protein" at Chipotle while savage behind me is in a hurry to deliver their fentanyl (a person who absolutely cares about proper pronunciation of "fen-ta-nyl") because I am perplexed over the salsa choices during a national sales promotion.

Getting my nuts bit by a snake while on the toilet

Getting pushed off the Mississippi River bridge while driving and having to get a kid out the car seat or out of the third seat

Losing my job and becoming financially ruined. I’ve always been above average at my job and don’t squander my money. I’d be a hell of a lot wealthier if I didn’t live in fear and took a modestly calculated risk investing.

It’s fking stupid and the reason I haven’t bought a house, I’m afraid I’ll be locked into something I can’t afford one day.
