re: What's your grocery line policy? And what's your opinion of (C) people?

Yeah this for sure. If it’s someone on the phone on speaker I’m leaving my shite and walking out. I shouldn’t be there anyway and should find somewhere nicer to shop.

“C” people should be put against the wall and shot.
You choose your lot and stick with the consequences.

Maybe. I'm more efficient than the average shopper by at least 10x. It has to be quite lopsided for me to consider it.

B.
Could care less about C people.
Just cannot stand people that stop in middle of aisle with buggy parked so others cannot pass or have to say excuse me to get through.

In D. Walk the frick out of there is only two lines and no self check out.

I profile the shoppers as much as their carts.
This is the way.
There’s a demographic that has groceries for multiple people in their cart, so the cart might represent a half dozen transactions where each is either food stamps, or a check, or a combination.
And if a customer like this is in a scooter cart, add 10 minutes.

I go on Tuesday or Wednesday morning and go to self checkout

I really do not get people that do their weekly shopping on sundays. It’s always full of women “shopping” rather than men in a hurry flawlessly executing a battle plan to get the hell out ASAP.

C is as bad as not putting your cart away

D. Order through the app and have them bring it to my car.

I usually let myself have enough time that it doesn't matter.
Shiat like this doesn't bother me.
Those that get bothered have mental issues.

Option B because I’m autistic af when it comes to grocery stores.
If I see someone do option C I’m waiting for them to checkout, following them to their car and leaving my cart behind their vehicle.

Park the cart to the side and leave. Then go to a store that cost a bit more but has more than two registers open.

You are in a grocery store with your SO. There are 2 long checkout lines of exactly the same distance. Do you:
A) randomly get in either line
B) quickly size up the carts in both lines to figure out which line will go faster
C) you get in one line, while your SO gets in the other; whenever you determine the faster line, both of you join in that line
I usually do "B," Then the cashier in this line is inexperienced and is slow at running her register, and I end up spending twice as long in line, rather than if I had just picked a random line. Overthinking the world never pays off for me.

No matter what, I always end up in the slower line, even when doing b. Something always comes up, taking extra time, etc. So I just go with A mostly.
People that do this are assholes
