2014 - Honda Pilot - $423 - almost paid off
2014 - Honda Odyssey- paid for
One more year of payments and then in the clear. But will probably sell the Pilot after it is paid off to get a car with better gas mileage. I drive about 60,000 miles a year for my job.

Well that's not true, I didn't finance with the dealer or the manufacturer.

We're actually at a point imo where buying new makes a ton of sense for most people. 1-2 year used no longer sell at a big discount over new for many cars (and your measly discount comes with 10k+ miles and 1 or 2 years of the warranty used up) and if you're buying 4-5 years used youre missing out on fairly huge advances in safety tech.
I don’t have a car and haven’t shopped for one in 10 years until recently. The depreciation on a 4Runner is nearly linear at $180/month at any point between a new $45k one vs a $20k 2010. The “lose 20% as soon as you drive off the lot” idea doesn’t apply on good vehicles anymore.

$0. Paid off 2005 Camry with 160k miles
Next car will likely be another Toyota car. Can’t imagine spending big dollars on a piece of metal to get me around

I used to think financing a car was dumb so I wrote a check of $31K to pay off my wife's van. Boy was that fricking stupid. A year later the Van isn't worth near that and that money could have made me money.
Plus, I still have to save money per month for when this van falls apart or needs maintenance.
Car notes aren't evil if done right.

Depends on the car. ‘19 model of my vehicle is 60K+; I purchased the ‘18 model w/10K miles for 29K and it’s essentially the same car

I have two shitty cars. As a family of 5, I am so proud both of those shitty cars are paid for.
