For me it's just the inefficient communication. I don't mind talking to her about yer shite. It's things like

Me: what time is that thing on Friday
Her: well daughter has dance, and then I have to run to the store and then I need to get ready and we can go.
Me: so uh, what time is that thing Friday?

i learned that you can just Homer Simpson those conversation and be considered a good listener. First few years I thought offering simple and logical solutions was the move but as i have aged, i learned that was mistake

We moved from a 950 sq. ft. duplex to a very large house in 2009 and she still expects me to hear everything she says from 4 rooms away upstairs with the door closed.

That and she will never ever make a decision about anything by herself, either personally or professionally.

Oh, and she's becoming her father. not a good thing.

She's kinda OCD about cleaning and order so, I don't have to worry about her being messy.

At least I’m watching it because my toddler wants to watch it.

You watch it because you’re a loser.

You could give her a 3 day headstart to get ready and she's still be walking out the door at the time we're supposed to be somewhere

I'm guilty of this.

It's probably a byproduct of growing up in a house where I had to be able to read whether it was going to be a "bad day" with my alcoholic dad, so any change from the "norm" feels off.

As for my own SO, agreeing that we're going to go to something without putting it on our shared calendar. On more than one occasion I've committed to something without knowing we already had something scheduled and he's not great at verbalizing it either.

This is mine, but it’s not her fault her whole family sucks at communicating

For instance, if we’re having people over and I’m cooking. Me: “What time are people coming over?”. Her: “They are coming over for dinner”.

Is dinner a time? Did I miss that somewhere?

She can talk for literally 15 minutes non-stop and then she'll ask me after she's done, "So what do you think about that?". I timed her once when she was recording a whatsapp message to her sister. 23 minutes.
Goddamn shut the frick up woman. But she keeps herself tight, so, I can deal with it.

I'm just a quiet guy but she thinks that's bad or something idk lol I usually just tell her that I just like to chill

I too am guilty of that, especially in high volume event season like Christmas
