You've never seen couples wearing this type of stuff?
Trashy couple attire is much broader than just Disney.

Look up couples shirts. There is a ton of it and it all super cringey and/or trashy.
We saw a bunch in Hawaii

It's generally one of our vacations most years but we don't necessarily go every year. We spend more than $5k, but you don't have to spend as much as we do to have a great time. We have young kids though. I definitely wouldn't go as often if we didn't have kids....I'd definitely prefer Hawaii or Alaska. Thankfully we did Europe pre-invasion and prior to kids.

Most of the people I see who hate on WDW either haven't been or had a lousy trip because they didn't listen to advice of people who do frequently visit and know how to avoid a lot of the negatives that are part of something that many people visit.
I'm a lifer. I went the year after it opened and a whole bunch since.
There is a tremendous amount of things to do for both adults and kids if you only look.
If you want to close your mind and criticise people who like it that's your choice.
Just realize what it is you're really choosing.

I don't go to places where people would wear such things.

Oh I see. Yesterday was just the opening salvo against normalcy. This is going to be like a daily thing where you teach people with what you imagine is less zest for life and imagination how to live their life properly. Kids bad. Disneyworld bad. Awesome. Tell me more on a daily basis about how fantastic it is to be self-satisfied, condescending and preachy. Tomorrow you should talk about poors or uglies.

I don't get it either. People will make comments like "you sound really fun to be around", etc. I went to disney once when I was 8 or 9. Of course, since then there have been a lot more added, but I relate everything Disney to kids.
If I were planning a trip and no kids were involved Disney would be one of the last places on my list. Las Vegas is my Disney world. Gambling, drinking, strip clubs, etc...

The mid 20's couple choosing to honeymoon to Disney blows my damn mind.

You could also add all around miserable people in general.. But I agree with that.
I bring the kiddos once a year.. But we also do other things as well.
I don't get why this is such a big deal.. But this is the OT so

What's with your obsession of caring about what others enjoy doing with their time and money? Get over yourself and stop worrying about what others do.

Why? What should they be doing instead?

I have some interesting thoughts about parents who encourage their kids to go to college when their kids, by all objective measures, aren't intelligent.

Nothing against normalcy. I'm surprisingly a very traditional guy. I have some friends who are my age - a girl who was in a sorority with my fiance and her husband - who go to Disney World every year. We're into similar things, save for Disney World. They've gone for the past 4 years. I just think it's odd and wondered if I was the only one. If maybe I was missing something. I don't think I've said anything preachy. Different strokes for different folks. But that doesn't mean your strokes aren't odd.

Dinner with Cinderella and shite as a married couple is just weird. Go to paradise or somewhere fun and exciting like bora bora

As a person with no children, you're not missing a damned thing.
I only go because of my kids. Otherwise, it's a complete waste of time and money.
