This is what convinces me not to go to Disney. If I can pay for lodging, flights, food, and drink in a cool city for the same price as Disney or a gulf coast beach, I'm not choosing the latter two.

See, that sounds very "loser-ish" to me.

What the hell are you talking about? This isn't a thing.

Honeymoon couples aren't down in St. Lucia dressed like furries because they want to be quirky and festive.

You don't get Disney then. It is all right. It is not for everyone.

If you didn't see it to begin with, then you are already biased and your shitty thread won't change anything.

There are things for adults to do at Disney. Great golf, great restaurants, shopping, rides that aren't suitable for kids under 10 and shows. But if you didn't try to find that out before hand, that means you didn't give a shite in the first place.

I don't get the obsession with getting shitfaced at at 10 in the morning before a game or going to a bar to get hammered. I'm fine with a few beers and hanging with friends, but if that's what you want then fine. Where is the issue if I see all the things disney has to offer instead of being a whiny bitch about it and complaining when other people enjoy it?

Can't wait for this thread again in a few months

You sound upset.

I'm alright. Thanks for your concern though.

I had flashbacks to the early days of the soccer board when Nascar dipshits would find it necessary to come on and bash soccer

I enjoy Disney and like taking trips there. Doesn't stop me from going other places. I'm also not a fan of the beach (sand everywhere, I'm fat, etc.), but I don't start threads about it and call everyone that loves the beach pedos with a fannypack and metal detector

I dont get the downvotes for doing Disney for a honeymoon. I mean if you're going to a resort in the Caribbean is it really all that much different a concept as Disney? So you sit on a beach instead of in the park. We didn't want to travel, so to each their own.

FWIW, wifey and I are probably going tropical for our 10th trip. I want to go somewhere where my phone will not work. But I don't regret doing Disney for the honeymoon at all. We took our Daughter last year and its a completely different experience with kids. I really want to go back this year.

I don't get this obsession with ____ is trashy. But then again, someone was shitting on Caddyshack on the M/TV board yesterday, so nothing surprises me anymore.

We went to Universal last week with no kids. Had a great time. Rode every ride and then watched LSU football. We do usually go during the off periods.

This is like saying if you're going to go sit on a beach in the Mediterranean, is it that much different than Compton. So you sit on a beach instead of in the ghetto.

Live in Florida and have annual passes. Have probably taken my son about 8 or 9 times the past few years. Sometimes we'll just go for the day or go to animal kingdom. Nice that it's only a few hours away.

But yes there are some extraordinarily weird people there...but they seem happy.
