What's up with this ridiculous weather?

It goes from blue skies to hours long torrential downpours.
And seems to be much more frequent lately.
What's the deal with the weather?

Working out malfunctions on the government controlled weather machine.

Did you just move to south Louisiana? You just described the summer weather pattern for as long as I have been alive.

It does this EVERY Summer. Are you finally noticing this b/c of your work from home or office situation(more windows than years past)?
I remember in the 90s delivering pizza in the Summer around LSU. Seems like it rained EVERY damned day about 3pm. I remember this well b/c I had no AC and always had my windows down.
Imagine 3 hot pizzas(bag still leaks hot air) on your front seat with the windows up and no AC in a downpour.

No.

The rain just seems harder and longer this year. I've never seen it this hard and long before. Usually it's softer and a little shorter. But now it's so hard and long it's starting to get uncomfortable and clog things up and I'm just not sure I can handle it this hard and long evey time. It's so hard it hurts.

Worked outdoors every summer while at LSU. Rains just about every day at 3pm within an eye shot of where ever you are standing

If it requires daily storms to keep the hear index below 135 I am ALL IN!

It's summer in Louisiana. Blazing heat and torrential downpours are kind of a thing.

It's a tradeoff.
Shitty weather is cancelled out by our great national rankings, beautiful scenery, and our ethical state government.
