I have noticed beer shortages at some stores around here. I figure it’s just still a catch up thing from the hurricane.
Strangest thing I heard this week was that there is a shortage of glass for certain kinds of alcohol (tequila was a given example). Doesn’t make sense but this was bar owner who told me

I can assure you that ConAgra is doing all they can to get the stores stocked back up on Slim Jims. There were a multitude of factors causing the shortage, but the main one was demand during Covid-19 lockdowns, caused by lockdown snacking and extra unemployment money being tossed around. Thirty day supplies for distribution centers would be wiped out in three days.
I don't think the Giant, Monster, or Savage Sticks (Oh Yeah!) are depleted as much as the short sticks. It's all the same stuff.
