That is about the most fragrant part of driving through the city as some days you can get a nice whiff of freshly roasted coffee instead of a French Quarter sewer.
When I started driving into the City every day I wondered why they had a giant folgers sign, I figured it was a storage facility, no idea they roasted the coffee there.

He doesn’t have a jet.
But I would be willing to bet if he needs to get somewhere Southwest will fly him to wherever his destination is domestically with a nice hot cup of Community Coffee on board.

People still fly out of Baton Rouge? I thought North Baton Rouge was one of those No Go Zones like in the Middle East for certain individuals.
I know people that would rather drive an hour to MSY than fly out of BTR.

I’ll never understand why so many people like community coffee. It tastes like shite.
It’s a working man’s coffee. Might not appeal to a fa**ot palate.

I found this ad for Community Coffee in the 1970’s.
So I plugged in the inflation numbers to get what that coffee would cost at regular price.
Community must use the CPI in pricing because a 12 oz bag is nearly the same price though some shrinkflation.

It was $9.99 at a local grocery last week. Have never seen it that high. Usually $7.99/$8.99, and often on sale for 1/2 the price.

It's not a state, but I would think you could grow it in Puerto Rico too.

Are Community and Foldgers your only choices?

That is why some people need to shop like they are on the rhythm method. Buy when it drops and hopefully you bought enough until the next sale.

Coffee as a raw product is up big it's been all over the news. Combine that with about 99% of it is imported and subjected to tariffs.
Would be shocking if the price didn't go up substantially
