See, people like you are why this country needs some stricter laws on who can procreate and who can't.

At least we aren’t a part time parent disappearing every 2 weeks and then throwing our own self guilt towards better parents who care about their kids and are their parents every day.

You know you suck as a parent. Your son will suck as father one day as well thanks to you.

But just keep being that keyboard warrior on message boards and social media instead of improving as father.

Wow

It's okay buddy. I forgive you. I know those hurtful words aren't really meant for me but rather just frustration with yourself for tracking your kid with a glorified ankle bracelet. Don't be too hard on yourself. It was probably KY your wife's idea and I'm sure you thought it wasn't a good idea at first but just didn't have the balls to stand up to her. It's understandable.

I have an almost 17 year old and a 21 year old girls. I got life 360 once they started driving. The 21 year old is still on there but I don't check her. I have the crash alert option because really that is what I am the most worried about. I hardly ever check in general just cuz they are where they say they are.

My brother uses it to micromanage his kids when they are with his ex wife.

That's an issue.

People who micromanage their children are the problem. They can do so with or without this app, but certainly can use this app to do so.

But per the tenor of this thread, not every parent does this, and for those that don't, I'm sure those kids aren't screwed for the REST OF THEIR LIVES because their parents have an app that they rarely check and only use in urgent type situations. Those kids don't are one way or the other. They do care when parents use it like the way you stated your brother does.

Not really. Wasn't long after and I parted out the car because he was driving too fast. The deal was we would go to the track if he wanted to race, not main street.

I replaced it with a late 90's Civic and him on his own insurance policy.

He brings up the fact he screwed himself out of his dream car often. I figure he learned something. I still don't track his location.

our family has it, we use it, we like it. 2 kids in high school. Sends me alert when they arrive/leave school and when they arrive/leave home. Thats about all we use it for.

Kids still like us so they call and check in anyway...

Look it's a glorified ankle bracelet. Those are for criminals. There's no way around the fact that you treat your children the exact same way a court treats a flight risk.
