Grease fire. While trying to extinguish it, I flipped the pot over. The flaming grease landed on my bare feet and legs. The grease also hit a Walmart bag full of glass bottles (intended for recycling, that was hanging from a drawer knob. Glass fell and shattered on the floor.

16 year old me ran out of the kitchen with feet a flame and bleeding around the living room carpet. I finally reached down and pushed all the flaming skin off of my feet and collapsed on the hallway floor.

Spent 3 weeks in the hospital/burn unit. 3rd degree burns and multiple lacerations.

A series of sports injuries. All were bad in their own way, but not a huge deal compared to some others have mentioned.

Dislocated shoulder leading to a torn labrum. Delayed getting the surgery until after I was done playing, so my shoulder would pop out relatively frequently for a 5 year period. Rehab was no fun when I actually did get the repair.

Avulsion fracture in my hip. This was ok day-to-day but was frustrating because you're sitting out for awhile.

Broken wrist just really hurt.

4 or 5 concussions of varying severity.

Blew out my knee playing basketball: tore my ACL, MCL, and meniscus. My knee cap also ended up on the side of my knee instead of the front and I had to pop it back in place.

Had to have ACL reconstruction and patella realignment along with cleaning out the meniscus.

I would think that a third degree burn injury has to be the worst. I heard that the third degree burn never heals and the person is always in pain. I can't imagine the pain of the third degree burn because I just had minor burns and they hurt for a little while. I feel sorry for people who escape being in a fire and then you hear that they received third degree burns over 70 percent of their body. I think that I'd prefer death in a situation like that.

ACL

Currently back injury and sciatic nerve pain seems worse than that though.

Missed the top step bringing up an old 32 inch tube tv. Fell down a full flight of stairs with tv. Busted me up pretty bad, and what was left of the tv went through the sheet rock at the bottom of the steps !
