Nope! All 8 of us go in and sit in front of one manager and claims this is the best form of doing interviews.
So dumb. Group interviews are for jobs where (a) you are only hired based on the way you look (b) a large company is looking to hire a ton of people at once. For example - the grand hiring team for L’Auberge, Top Golf, etc.

acted just like Seth Rogan in Step Brothers.
Seth Rogan isn’t in Step Brothers. Who are you talking about here?

So you accepted a position before you knew what the pay was? Or, they changed it on you after you accepted?
I knew the pay. I was expecting 20-30 hrs per week. $120 a week minus taxes wouldn’t even pay for gas going from LSU to Motiva.

Seth Rogen is, in fact, in step brothers. Not sure about Seth Rogan though.

I had an interview with a Fortune 500 company to work in their financial reporting division. I was working for a F500 financial services firm in their financial reporting division and had a decade of experience.
Rather than talk about my professional certifications or what I had learned the last 10 years, they guy wanted the details of my college transcript and what I learned in college and how it applied to my work.
I told him college taught me to show up on time, work well with others and TCB...but the skills I developed over the previous 10 year is why they would hire me. I got up, shook hands and left. The VP called me the next day and offered the job to me.

Showed up to an interview for a purchasing job. Asian lady walks in with a neon yellow sweatshirt with a cat on the front while I'm wearing a suit and tie. First 20 minutes is awkward silence while she looks at my resume for the first time (she even says this). Goes on to explain how the purchasing job is actually a sales job, but you are "purchasing clients".

I have never heard of this move. Are you suppose to start buying the client whatever he wants?

You need to edit your other post unless I'm just brain dead today. Your other post says $15/ hour 8 hours a day for 4 days.

Fwiw i had the panel interview at time-life.
I dont see the problem.
In my line of work (software design and programming) stress and confrontational politics are common.
If you cant stand the heat stay out of the kitchen.
The kemper group used psychological stressing like op reports but after the technical interview. If you crack or act out, you eliminate yourself.
To answer op,
I was interviwer on a couple of odd ones.
I interview and recommend to hire a great candidate.
My boss says no.
He says, that guy is so handsome and self assured I'd feel bad about myself every day.
