I really think we're all talking about the same girl whose is Emily. Awhile ago she was posting a gofundme account on facebook trying to get people to pay rent and all her other bills.

Girl with mutual friends started one to send her to rehab in California.
The most ridiculous part is her insurance would 100% cover rehab facilities in Alabama. She goes on to say she's been to rehab in Alabama 4 times already, but she knows it'll work this if she can just get out of her element. Even had a link to a facility right on the beach. The type that celebrities and rich people go to.
Didn't get a single dollar donated, just people bashing her for trying to use addiction to get a free 3 month paid vacation to California.

a middle class couple were asking for $4500 for a Disney vacation. I think she took it down after no one donated after a week.

One of my high school classmates started one to fund a vacation with her husband to help save her failing marriage.
Her marriage was failing because she'd gotten caught having an affair.

A guy from my high school started a GoFundMe to raise money to paint his old Pontiac Firebird car. He kept posting it on Facebook and saying "Donate Now!!!!" I looked at his GoFundMe site a couple of months later and it read $0.00 in total donations.

When a couple asks for money to adopt kids. It's called saving or taking out a loan and paying it off. It seems really weird to have other people pay for your kid.

Ive donated to a few causes Ive seen on here and most of them were dumber than giving a kid a home
