City Park pavilion near the 10th tee of the West course pre-Katrina on a Sunday morning. 2 drunks throwing haymakers at each other.

I've never seen an out of place fight.

One of the most brutal I've seen was behind the mcdonalds on St Claude & Franklin ave.

About 9 vs 3 started fighting at night, one had a wooden bat and hit one guy to the ground. He then worked his legs and back over, then one to the jaw. Dude was trying to crawl off..I guess he's lucky he wasn't just shot.

That was early 2005.

East Ascension High School's graduation ceremony at Lamar Dixon Expo Center. Two family members of a student started throwing drunken haymakers at each other. They were a mere 4 feet from my kids when the first punch was thrown.

Now that you mention it. There was a thread here and it made national news. The fight at the Monterey kindergarten graduation last year. I know all parties involved

Crawfish stand in Belle River. Baws were brawling in white rubber boots, wife beaters, and cut-off blue jeans!!!

Checkers parking lot in Lake Charles. Actually I guess that's nothing out of the ordinary.

NOLA- St. Stevens church/school early 80's. Race riot with bats and 2x4s. There were at least 50 people fighting. I was walking by and ran into the church with a buddy.

That's probably one of the most probable public settings for a fight to occur.

In a posh London tube station sidewalk at a curbside sausage dog stand...I was just putting the brown sauce on my dog when two young women in 'little black dresses' began tearing into each others hair. It eventually led to punches and then rolling around on the sidewalk until eventually one got on top and took over.

Friends eventually separated them.

Brown sauce sucks on a dog!

I used to live in Florida, a white hispanic guy was following a black teenager. I saw them get into it but never found out what happened

Seriously though, strangest I've seen was along I-10 near the Siegen exit. Traffic was stopped (rush hour) and we saw this 40-ish white trash looking lady get out of her car, slam her door shut all pissed, and walk over to another car and yell something into the window. 50-ish black guy gets out and smokes her right in the face, knocking her down. It looked like he was going to hit her again, but I'll never know what happened next. My wife (gf at the time) floored it because I was trying to get out to help the lady not get beaten to death. She didn't want me getting caught up in it. We were on the side road (Rieger) which was about 50 yards away from the action.

I posted about it here to see if anyone else saw it, nobody did. Nothing on the news either so I guess the lady was ok.

ETA this was about 7-8 years ago

i saw a man give his son a whooping in an art museum. Security came over and asked him to leave. And they called the cops. eta: kid was maybe 7.

I almost said something but figured if he would hit his kid, he would hit me.

See what happens when you don't whisper at a professional sporting event?

Beach wedding in Destin. After the ceremony, there was a beach reception. The groom and his new brother in law started talking smack and then punches get thrown. Absolutely the weirdest thing I have ever seen. We just watched from our balcony and laughed. What was really funny was the fact that it was an interracial marriage so I can just about imagine what started it !!!!!

It wasnt the location, it was the time. 3:30 am in spring (maybe march), 1999 ish.

I'm not sure I really want to know, but what were you doing in a Tiger Stadium bathroom in the middle of the night?

Driving back from El Paso the other week, DOTD was working on the spillway bridge. Had one lane closed, and as I was driving by, I saw two Mexicans getting into it. One of them was holding a shovel and bopped the other one in the head with it. The foreman was just sitting there watching, and then some other hands broke it up. Definitely made the traffic worth it
