I lived in the downtown of a city 5 floors above a very very controversial bar. We had a corner apartment and got to see all the drunk college kids and others walking home and we saw some shite. This bar, it got closed all the time for months at a time. It was basically the only bar of its type in the city. One calm Thursday evening while my roommate and I were studying, we look out and a riot of at least 50 people had erupted at this bar and it spilled out onto the streets. It lasted probable 20 minutes. Many were arrested. The entire time, the people in their cars at the intersection looked horrified.

Best so far for the least likely place to see one!

I mean, he should have played that shite as it lied, damn.

It was actually a guy in my foursome and a guy from the FIVEsome in front of us.

It started a few holes before when we asked if we could play through the slow fricks and they said no. Well, the guy involved from our group had not been playing, as he sucked at golf and had been drinking heavily since about the third hole, so he was just sitting in the cart observing.

Maybe a hole or two after we asked to play through the guy from the other group was being a dick by taking a couple of mulligans off the tee after a couple of shitty drives, then looks back at us with a smirk. Our drunk guy yelled something, but that was about it.

When we got to 17, the group in front of us was again dicking off in the fairway, so our drunk guy said "frick it" and decided he was going to hit a drive. He proceeds to hit a screamer down the middle of the fairway right towards one guy, and yelled fore at the last second. The ball missed the dude, but he starts running back towards the tee, and our guy starts running down to meet him. The rest of us were kind of stunned, but slow-jogged down to where these two WWE rejects had met.

The "fight" itself consisted of those two basically slapping each other and rolling around on the grass for about thirty-seconds before the 7 of us pulled them off of each other.

The other group said frick-it and quit, and our guy wanted to do the same. My cousin (the BIL of the drunk guy) looks at me and says "do you want to leave?", but I had a great round going with a chance to break 90 (I'm not the best golfer in the world), so I said frick no. Stayed, finished, and shot an 89.

I know, I know... CSB, tl;dr

I appreciate your commitment to the round. No way Tiger finishes strong after those distractions.

I mowed yards for a living from 6th grade through my freshman year, but never on a crew.

Colfax Pecan Festival. Two grown men beat each other bloody on the street in broad daylight. One yelled for someone to call the Poe-lice. The other yelled, "I am the god damned Poe-lice!"

At a wedding reception. All told there were about 20 guys that got involved, and there were some bloody noses, and one guy got a couple of teeth knocked out.
