Tiger stadium is pretty loud on the ends.
I have to say the loudest sound I ever heard was firing a 12 gauge inside a vehicle through the windshield with all of the windows up. It was getting replaced anyways and I wanted to have a little fun.

Thing is, an Abrams firing is not very loud: if you are down inside of the tank.

Maybe not the loudest thing ever, but worth mentioning...
We have sat pretty low on the front stretch at daytona....the effect is minimized a bit because its a gradual increase in sound that you know is coming, but when 42 cars go flying by it gets so loud you cant even hear yourself scream.

Ammunition dump explosion at Camp Minden a few years back. Shook all the windows in the house and cracked one. And we were 10 miles away.
