I have no desire to be on any flight much less a 25 hr flight.
The 30 min flight from Roanoke to Charlotte in a little prop plane that got tossed around like a toy felt like it took 8 hrs.

As of June 1 the longest in the industry was Aukland-Doha at 17 hours, 40 min.
Maybe your figure was with a layover somewhere.

One of my bucket list trips...
United 154 routes HNL-MAJ-KWA-KSA-PNI-TKK-GUM...15 hrs on a B738.
I wanted to kill myself by the time we hit Guam.

Singapore Airlines operated an A340-500 from Newark-Singapore. Flight continued to Sydney.
Qantas operates SYD-LAX-JFK/JFK-LAX-SYD. They stop in LA to change crews. No change of equipment.
Hawaiian operates JFK-HNL-SYD out of the JetBlue Terminal

I remember when I flew the IAH-Doha route (maybe 10 years ago), the ATL-Johannesburg route was the longest flight in comm aviation at that time. I think IAH-Doha was 4th or so.

Had to fly from Amman to Arifjan several times on a C-130. That shite was bad enough. Can't imagine that long of a flight on that loud arse plane.
Well, at least I got to steer.
