What's the issue with the word "moist"?

some people think that having some small, seemingly insignificant, irrational "fear" or "issue" makes the sound cooler some way.

Ex GF hated the word because it made her think of wet vagina. I said it whenever i could to aggravate her. Maybe that is why we are exes.

Maybe "soggy" is a better word.
